YG Reveals 2NE1’s comeback news, “THIS YEAR WILL BE 2NE1′S MOST GLORIOUS YEAR.”
On May 17, together with 2NE1′s 4th anniversary, YG Entertainment revealed a photo teaser on their YG blog.
The photo teaser contained a phrase that said “ARE YOU READY?” that points at their comeback. It was officially announced by YGE that on May 28 leader CL will be having her first solo debut. Shortly after that, they also announced that 2NE1 will be releasing a new track.
Last year, Korea’s girl group famous for their global concerts, topping the ticket charts and ending their world tours with great success. Announcing 2NE1′s comeback with activities in Korea and new songs, one can say YG has strong will to accomplish this.
A YG insider explained, “Just like 2012, 2NE1 will have several activities and consecutive hit songs like “I Am The Best,” “Lonely,” and “It Hurts.” The teaser reveals the determination YG Yang Hyun Suk’s representative producer has, who also says that this year will be 2NE1′s most glorious year.”
If you don’t recall, last year CL’s version of ”I Love You” teaser, the first one that was released also has an “Are You Ready?” as its tagline.
